ARTS NIGHT OUT: Stephen Hyde, November 14th 6-8pm

“Hi, I’m Stephen Hyde, I live in Easthampton, MA with my wife, Hayley, our daughter, Georgia,
two cats and a dog.

I love exploring our small town and I find myself drawn to the “empty” places. The places
that are void of the people who shaped it. I look for humor and irony in the everyday scenes
that play out in, sometimes, our very front yards. I find inspiration from photographers such
as Robert Adams, for his quiet contemplation around the impact of humans on our planet;
Stephen Shore for his ability to capture seemingly every day views in the most sensual and
at times dramatic way; And Robert Eggleston’s “democratic forest” philosophy where form
and technique can render the most mundane of objects a unique story worth telling. My
images are captured on film and digital in many formats but my favorite is the ever at hand 35mm.”

Come join us on November 14th from 6-8pm to view his work as part of Arts Night Out.
The bar will be open 🙂
