From the Artist: Gary Smith
A 1991 graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover, NJ. I have done work for Valiant/Acclaim Comics and the Canson Paper Company. My work can be seen frequently in the Western Mass area and has been displayed at the XL Center in Hartford, Foxwoods Casino, the Bing Comic Con in Springfield and at the Normal Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA.
My Colors are achieved by using pure oil colors with each layer separated by a glaze of varnish to the desired effect.
I currently reside in South Deerfield.
